Life adrift of violence

Although the Albanian democrats are investing for a State of law, freedom is an impossible aim for them. Such is today; such was even during the dictatorship of Enver Hoxha. The family of Frank Mondi from the village Dheu i Letė, was one of the most persecuted families in Shkodra during the long regime of Enver Hoxha. During the dictatorship of Enver Hoxha, Frank Mondi was condemned 10 years in a political prison, because he didn’t agree with that system. During the ’90’s, when the first democratic movements started in Albania, the family of Frank Mondi materialized their longing for freedom, investing in the huge movement to the fall of communism and building up a State without violence and injustice. During the protests of April 2, 1991, in Shkodra, for the votes stolen by the former communist President Ramiz Alia, when four people were killed (Arben Broci, Bujar Bishanaku, Nazmi Kryeziu and Besnik Ceka) and 163 other citizens were wounded, though they were asking just freedom, Frank Mondi and his son, Aleksandėr Mondi, were active, while Aleksander was ill-treated by the police, which shot with real bullets on people. Peace in the life of the family Mondi was short, this only during the years of the government of the Democratic Party. In 1997, when the Socialist Party got back the power through an armed revolution (typical social-communist), it is the start of another “Calvary” of persecution for the family Mondi. The victim now is Aleksandėr Mondi. He lost his freedom again. On September 14, 1998, during the funeral of the democratic leader, Azem Hajdari, killed in Tirana, a few meters from the Democratic Party Central Seat, Aleksandėr Mondi was arrested and kept for one week in the Police Commissariat No.2 in Tirana. There he suffered heavy tortures. During the local elections of October 1st, 2000, Aleksandėr Mondi was one of the main activists of the Democratic Party, what made him a target of the police and the Socialist State. Three days before the elections he was arrested and kept for two weeks in the Police Commissariat of Shkodra. The purpose was the manipulation of elections in that area.

In 2001, during the parliamentary elections, Aleksandėr Mondi was member of the commission at the Voting Center No.10, where at 19:15, numerous police forces went at that voting center and arrested and mistreated Aleksandėr Mondi. The purpose was again to manipulate the votes in order to make win the candidate of the Socialist Party, for Aleksandėr didn’t permit this. The violent social-communist power generates only victimization in order to keep the crime chair. We cannot give another name, because at the moment when Aleksandėr Mondi was arrested and mistreated, his wife Ardiana Mondi, who was near the voting center, was beaten by the police forces so hard to cause her lose her baby, as she was pregnant waiting to bear her child and grow him with the love of a good mother. These are the motives of a man who loves life, but cannot have other destiny but death, that caused Aleksandėr to leave Albania. In 2005, Aleksandėr Mondi came in Albania where he faced persecution again. He was arrested and kept for two days in the Police Station, where he faced pressure, to make him tell where he was and where was his family at the moment. This is the sadness and insecurity that is experiencing Aleksandėr Mondi, for the strategy of the power keepers is to violate, but also to eliminate physically their political opposition.

Tragic incidents

Innocent people are killed, violated and even robbed every day and night. The cut head of a woman was found in the last days in Sukth, village near the seaside town of Durrės. People see death nearer than life. Even Ernest Shkoza was victim of an attempted murder. On July 15, 2003, the car he was traveling with was shot. As a result Ernest was wounded while his son, Nikolin Shkoza, 17 years old, traveling with his father, was terrorized. The motive of the attempted murder was probably the tracing of a group of traffickers and their report at the Court by Ernest, as an officer of the Financial Police. His life becomes every day more in danger. On December 5, 2004, there was placed explosive stuff at his house, fortunately without causing victims. Nikolin Shkoza, finding himself in this situation, was forced to emigrate, to save his life somewhere in the occident, what is impossible in his country, while his parents leave hidden.

These tragic incidents of the actual Albanian life are the only product of the communist terrorists that are driving Albania even more backward.
