Don’t leave our children orphans

This is what the verses of a beautiful kosovar song say. And the albanianas of Kosovo speak to the serbian beast with words of soul. But the serbs do not care. The violence has reached to the point to slay the mothers and fathers in the presence of their children, which either are killed also, or are left shocked for all their life. Such a nethod is being followed even in Albania. The known singer and artist Prek Fran Mrishaj born in April 21, 1958, only because has sang a few das ago in a meeting of the “Union for Victory”, has been mistreated by the police of this state. But Prek Mrishaj had sang even in the scenes of America and Europe, and he had sang even the kosovar song “Don’t leave our children orphans”. But the albanian communists are even more harsh than the serbs. We have made known and will keep on doing so for hundreds and hundreds of violence cases, no matter the pressures on the journalists, the last of which was the shootig on the car of aour colleague, the director of the daily news “Tema”, mister Mero Baze. So the situation is more than tragical. The known democratic Zef Gjon Sinishta, born in March 22, 1956, as he took part in the throwing down of the bust of Stalin in January 14, 1990, in that of the bust of Enver Hoxha inDecember 13, 1990, as had protested pacifically as all the albanian democrats did and had been at the funeral of the deputy Azem Hajdari in September 14, 1998, as he was the commissioner of the Democratic Party in the Elections of 1996 and 1997, as well as in those locals of October 1, 2000, was made a target of the security dark forces of the state, and was threated to be killed many times. The democratic Zef Sinishta is compelled to leave his wife and the children until the day when even these ones entered the blind alley of emigration, what reminds us of the really painfull verses of the kosovar song “Don’t leave our children orphans”. But do the dictators have a heart?! They are of the same dimensions wherever they are. But however the most harsh are in Albania and Serbia. Fatos Nano isn’t less criminal than Sllobodan Millosheviç.

Cannot set up Albania with the life -long deputies

We have in our hands the list of the deputies who won the 1 - st raund, and the ballotation too. A careful sight can notice that almost all the parliamentis made up by the same persons we had in the past legislature. In this sight, loking at the lists of the proprotional, we will have in the parliament even 40 ex - deputies. So we’ll have the same parliament we had and so we’ll have the same Albania we had. But if we go deeper, all these deputies, replacing only those who died or those who left Albania and anyone who has become multimillionaire, we’ve had even in 1991, 1992, in 1996, 1997 and we still do. Our deputies do only change party, decieve and steal. The people trusts them blindly, however it will be in poverty, insecurity, violence, unrighteusness, not only lives but cheers too. Because to pretend to prosper with communist thieves as Fatos Nano, with the same faces of deputies who destroyed the natinal values, you must aslo agree that we don’t have yet a pure culture as poeple that the world might negotiate something good. The time of Enver is over to pretend that America, Italy, Turkey etc., are friends of some leader. The western world has nobody neither enemies nor friends. That civilized world. which we are, invain, striving to go toward, changes its politicians often even when they do work well, imagine than if they steal and lie like our ones do. An italian proverb says: When a man follows his vice, before taking it off, he gets older and dies. If we speaklike that about the communists that guide us, in theseelections was the case to say it for all the ex - deputies because they like to be perpetual. In truth even Enver Hoxha used to change the managers of the co - operative farms, because they didn’t “produce enough mud”.

Those boys and girls who in 1989 were 18 - 19 years old, now they are 30 - 31 years old. And we have thousands of them who have taken the diploma at the western schools, and not as the deputies we have, over 80 % communists. These monsters do not have intention to change Albania. Behold, remember these words in the next elections when you as voters will be asked to vote for the same deputies. And then you’ll have the same promises. But until then you woun’t see them. They are occupied. At least they earn, “sweating” 300 - 400 thousands of dollars for every campaign.

Political discrimination and persecution

It is an unheard tragedy the bitter fatality of the albanians on they way to democracy. Only these last four years the communist dictatorship of the communist Fatos Nano has killed over 3500 democrats and heavily wounded about 4800 others. As it is a fact the life and death are one so anti - human are the episodes. And you can’t help but giving the direct responsability to the state - party which not only didn’t fight crime but managed it. The socialists, the followers of Enver Hoxha, once upon a time have killed and executed just for a word, today they do not kill you with laws as it was before, because they show another face in the worlds sight, but go to the extreme to sell statal secrets just to stay longer in power. The labirinths of the structures of the mafious state have practised violence and pressure upon the member and activist of the Democratic Party Marin Kruja. This family had been anti - communist since the time of Enver Hoxha. Marin’s uncle, Sait Musa Kruja was killed in the border in November 22, 1980, while attempting to exile. In that case, Sait’s brother, Ismet Musa Kruja and oll the members of the family payed a heavy price of political persecution and discrimination. But let’s come back to the odyssey of Marin Kruja. This democrat, son of a democratic family, since the 2 - nd of April 1991, when the communist state security killed the four democracy’s martyrs, Arben Broci, Bujar Bishanaku, Besnik Ceka, Nazmi Kryeziu and wounded other 163, he stayed at the hospital because beastly beaten. After the victory of DP in 1992 the liberty in Albania got a admiring dimension. But the spring of 1997 brought back again the medieval revenges toward the democrats. So, in June 29, 1997, the member of the Elections Board of the 4 - th zone in the Voting Center Nr. 10, Marin Kruja, representing the DP and the canidate Mark Krroqi, was used violence upon, only because didn’t accept the manipulation of the votes. In fact htose elections were the darkest in the history of Albania for Fatos Nano, Rexhep Mejdani, Neritan Ceka, Gramoz Pashko, Arben Imami, Namik Dokle, Skènder Gjinushi etc., took the guns and won with weapons, leadin in the verge of civil conflicts between North and South. And as in the North they couldn’t manipulate at all, this area was submited to the most harsh genocide. Behold, two arrests and beatings of Marin Kruja because of political convictions: On September 15, 1998, the day after the burial of the democratic deputy Azem Hajdari and on July 10, 2000 after the peaceful meeting of the albanian opposition, to reach at the ace on January 14, 1999, when Marin Kruja is assailed by three masked people where dy cousins of him, Osman and Artur Alibali, are killed. In this occasion he had his wife pregnant, who was urgently admitted in hospital, and thanks to the medical care and professionalism she could have a normal child after three moths. This fatality of the albanian democrats is testified with facts. On February 18, 2001at the entry of Shkodra, while driving his car, a mercedes, Marin Kruja is overtaken by another car and shooted. His car knocked an object. He,  shocked enters a parking place from where the workers send him at the hospital.

The section of DP, Shkodèr lodges a protest against such actions which keep on showing that the State - Party of the Socialists is attempting to stay in power by eleminating the oppoers with psychological pressures to the democratic people of Shkodra.

Three democrats arrested in Koplik

On June 24, 2001, parliamentary elections were held in the city of Koplik, likewise in all Albania, while the “people” decided who was to represent it in the Albanian Parliament. Nevertheless, whosoever has a little knowledge about the Albanian politics during the “Democracy”, can’t help but asking: Why did the police arrest three democrats in the city of Koplik? Did the police help in manipulating the votes and for the socialists’ “victory”? These same questions were asked by Pjetër Popaj, one of the three arrested, member of the Council of the District, on June 26, 2001, yet none answered until now.

These democrats are Marjan Kaçaj, Nik Ivani and Pjetër Popaj. All of them have something in common, for they are members of the DP. Mr. Kaçaj and Mr. Popaj were arrested on June 24, 2001, while Mr. Ivani was arrested the day after, on June 25, 2001. Mr. Kaçaj and Mr. Ivani were employed by the DP and on June 24, 2001, they were appointed as overseers in the voting center of Koplik.

Witnesses, who were present at the moment of arrest, reported that the police went at the voting center of Koplik, demanding the list of the voters from them. The police arrested them as they had refused to give it. Some witnesses, who want to keep their privacy, said that the police used force toward the arrested.

Neither the police, nor the DP gave any comment about the incident, though we asked them repeatedly.

They were not the only individuals declared arrested by the police on June 24 or 25. Other voting centers reported that Aleks Gilaj, Pjetër Shqutaj, Arben Ulaj, Lekë Lumaj, Fran Hysaj, Nikolin Durgaj, Flora Grishaj, Dod Malaj, Franc Gjini, Gjovalin Gjini, Prel Drekaj, Sokol Durgaj and Robert Lumaj were amongst the arrested. All of them were, in some way, activists and members of the DP.

The motivation of these arrests is enigmatic for the moment, but the citizens of Koplik and other cities realize that the police in Albania is “playing” an important and “special” role during the elections, serving faithfully the socialists.
