We’ll change the world

America needs a new guide.

We all are part of the success of each-other, for as many Americans prosper, the more does America prosper.

We’ll make 2.000.000 new employments.

Taxes will be one third lower than under President Reagan.

I’ll give end to the war in Iraq, so that we might not pay anymore 10 billion dollars a month.

I’ll reestablish our moral position so that America might be the last best hope on earth.

America is the country that permitted our parents and grand parents to believe that even if they couldn’t go to college they could save a few money so that they children might go.

In America, our destiny isn’t written for us, but by us.

By Barack Obama

President of the USA

It is a key moment in history. We have to face an economical crisis, the worst one. 760.000 employers have lost their job during this year. Business and families cannot have a credit. The price of the houses is decreasing and pensions are disappearing. The wages are the lowest of these last ten  years, while the cost of healthcare and colleges are higher than ever.

If we’ve learned something from this economical crisis, it’s that we’re all sinking in it. From ECO to its joint-stock, from financers to factory employees, we’re all part of the success of each other for as many Americans prospers, the more does America prosper. That’s why we have giants of industry who’s mission is to pay their employees enough to be able to by what they produce - businessmen like Warren Buffet. That’s why our economy wasn’t just the creator of greatest richness in the world, it is the greatest originator of employment. It was the wave that lifted up the ships of the biggest middle class in the history.

In order to rebuilt this class I will offer a rest from taxes for 95% of the families. If you work, pay taxes and gain less than 200.000 dollars, you’ll have lower taxes. If you gain more than 250.000 dollars, you’ll still pay less than in 1990, one third lower than during the presidency of Reagan.

We’ll make 2.000.000 new jobs by rebuilding our infrastructure and extending internet lines all over the country.

I’ll make an investment of 15 billion of dollars a year during the next ten years for renewing energy, well paid jobs that favor the ambient, that do not drain and help us ending our dependency on the oil from Middle East. As far as healthcare is concerned we don’t have to choose between a state system and a system we cannot afford that we already have. I’ll make the healthcare system affordable and achievable for every American. If you already have a health insurance, the only change you’ll see in my program is lower premium. If not, you’ll be able to have the same service that the members of the Congress have. In order to give to every child a world level education, so that they might run in this global economy for jobs of the 21st century, I’ll invest in the early education of children and will employ an army of new teachers. Yet I’ll ask for high standards and account. We’ll make a deal with every young American; if you dedicate yourself at the service of your community or country, we guarantee that you’ll be able to pay your education.

When it comes to the defense of this country, I’ll give end to the war in Iraq in a responsible way so that we might stop paying 10 billion dollars a month, while Iraq stands over a giant super production. For the good of our economy, our army and the long term stability of Iraq, it is time that the Iraqi decide for themselves. I’ll give end to the war to Bin Laden and the terrorists of Al Qaeda who attacked on September 9, I’ll build new partnerships in order to overcome ties of the 21st century and reestablish our moral position so that America might become the last best hope on earth. None of this will be easy. It won’t happen within a night. But I think we can make it because I believe in America. This is the country that made our parents and grandparents believe that even if they couldn’t go to college, they could save a little every week so that their children might go to college, for even if they didn’t have their business, they could work as much as it was needed for their children to start their own business. Every moment of our history he had to face challenges for we’ve never forgotten the fundamental truth that in America our destiny isn’t written for us but by us.

Together, we’ll change this country and the world.

The crime has no color

The crime has no color and flourishes when the State is inefficient. This is the only definition for the history of the citizen Mehmet Mehmeta, alias Spiro Kosta, born on January 26, 1961. He was coming from a persecuted family, and Mehmet, of course was not content of the communist regime of Enver Hoxha, that ruled with a cruel hand for 45 year in Albania. He was part of all the democratic movements in Albania, since the beginning of 1990, just like many other young democratic people of Shkodra at the time. Mehmet followed convinced the steps of his grandfather, who was sentenced with 25 years of imprisonment for political motives in 1948 and got a conditional in 1958. After two years the family of Mehmet Mehmeta was deported in Torovice for 8 years. While his uncle, Dilaver Mehmeta, escaped in 1982, as he couldn’t suffer the terrible communist pressure, Mehmet and his wife attempted to escape on July 15, 1990, and as they couldn’t make it, they were openly condemned in a meeting called by the communists in the neighborhood. Since the first days of democracy, the family of Mehmet Mehmeta was involved in the Democratic Party, as the only hope for democracy in the beginning of 1990. The family of Mehmet Mehmeta paid dearly all their activity, with menaces of physical elimination, while on April 12, 1990, at 23.15 there was placed explosive. They were safe for miracle with great damages of their house. In these hard conditions of continuous threats of life, Mehmet Mehmeta and his family had to leave Albania. The criminal groups who menaced Mehmet Mehmeta, were economically empowered during the 8 years of socialist government, and increased terror over their relatives in Albania. They wanted to finish at any price their criminal act of eliminating them physically. The criminals, with political and financial power, begun to menace Donika Mehmeta, the sister of Mehmet Mehmeta. They wanted to know at any price the address of her brother, but Donika didn’t give up, no matter the threats, as she didn’t want her brother to be in danger again. The pressure over the relatives of Mehmet Mehmeta in Albania are continuous, even in these days, after 2005. The first days of this week, unidentified persons met again Donika, Mehmet’s sister, and asked again about his address, but she didn’t tell so they mistreated her. The situation of life safeness in Albania and in Shkoder isn’t yet at the necessary level. The first days of November, there was an attempted attack for revenge in Shkoder, and the police was accused to be involved. The suspicious murder of Kosta Trebicka, the key witness of the “Gerdeci” process, is another evidence that criminal groups continue their activity and they often are supported by the police in their criminal acts. Even the reports of Donika, Mehmet’s sister, were not considered, and she found support only in the Media. The lack of safety in Albania is in very high levels and the return of Mehmet Mehmeta in Albania, like for many others, equals to announced death penalty. Who can take such a decision and assume such a responsibility?!

Fear from the gun of revenge

His name is Gezim Bajram Mustafa and is only 22 years old. He was born on June 25, 1986, in the village Kcar i Siperm of the municipality of Gruemire of Malesi e Madhe. He is the only son amongst 6 sisters in the family Mustafa, and was grown in poverty and misery in that deep in the mountains forgotten village, during the years of great democratic changes after the fall of the communist dictatorship of Enver Hoxha. Three years after Gezim’s birth, on November 30, 1989, Bajram Mustafa, the husband of Qamile and father of 7 kids, died of a serious illness, leaving back a seriously hard economical situation and also an enmity of blood-feud… The fatality came the afternoon of August 13, 1980, when Bajram was 39 years old. He was hunting with Sokol Qerimi (Zenelaj), a friend of him, in the dense forest, to feed their families. They had licensed hunting guns, as they were also shepherds of the village and there were numerous wild animals in the forest near by the houses of the village. There was never known what really happened, but the inhabitants heard two shots followed by the terrible scream of Bajram calling for help. The scene was terrible. Sokol was lying dead while Bajram was bitterly crying for his neighbor. Though the family of Sokol Qerimi lost their dear, they asked the State not to condemn Bajram. The wound was considered healed, but the three sons of Sokol were still doubtful. The democratic changes brought back the terrible ritual of blood-feud. As the State was falling, the phenomenon was assuming great dimensions. Many murders for blood-feud shocked the region of Malesi e Madhe. Someone reminded the family of Sokol Qerimi that the son of Bajram Mustafa was growing. Qamile, a strong woman, mother of 7 kids, without any support, left Kcar and was established in Koplik. She felt her son was in danger and she decided to defend him, the light of her eyes, at any cost. Somebody had asked about Gezim Mustafa and since that day he wasn’t seen anymore at the school. A man’s voice warned Qamile on 27 June 2006, about the danger menacing her son. The relatives of Sokol Qerimi had broken their promise and asked for revenge. Their guns was ready to shoot on the 20 years old Gezim Mustafa, who had never the chance to know his father, yet had to be killed because of a damned article of the unwritten canon of the mountains. Concerned for the life of her son, with the help of her married daughters, she could send Gezim, not without pain, abroad, where freedom and life is guaranteed by law. He can never come back in his birthplace, near his dear family. He might never see his mother Qamile again, who spends her days in tears missing her son. But here’s the unmerciful gun awaiting for him, in the name of an unpaid “debt”. Only during these 10 months there were 12 murders in the county of Shkoder, and they were all for revenge. How long will it take, without any certainty of life, without any future?
