      Mustafe Lici claims Fatos Nano

Now that in the Albanian politic all is horrible, the good things are clearly distinguished. A radical change is noticed in the politic of the democrat leader Sali Berisha. He and “The Union for the Victory” is carrying on a calm electoral campaign but the rose camp, one in great nervosas.

Following the point view, the phrase of Mustafe Lici, the leader of the Liberal Democratic Opinion Party of the Right that “we produce politic, the communists steal it”, expresses all the meaning that it includes. It means the poverty that made Albanian being part of the list of 5 poorest countries in the world, near Mozambique, Uganda, Tanzania and Sao Thomas in Africa. This phrase means the deep silence of the steal of the statement thesaurus by the communists, the visible discrimination against the political adversaries, “the bomb” that can explode in the hands of the Albanians if they vote for the communists.

Mustafe Lici, leader of the Liberal Democratic Opinion Party of the Right with centre in Shkodra, as the only one dissident leader, political prisoner, was able to win credibility in the electoral population showing sincerity and clearness making public and acting against the horrible actions of the communists. In a very short period he undersigned 9803 persons with regular payments only in Shkodra. Using the progressive politic and the relations throughout contracts with foreign countries, he helped staying beside all. Only on January he furnished Shkodra people with food and medicinal medicaments for an amount of 280.000.000 Leke, amount that everybody knows about and that is no compare to the one of Fatos Nano in Shkodra. He claimed the mafias Fatos Nano ensuring long periods contracts till 2006. If the reinforcement of the parties now days is considered as Albania failing, because now the different interests of different clans are pledge of the life in Albania, in this happens differently. The Liberal Democratic Opinion Party of the Right as deep impact against communists has united his forces with the alternative of the “Union for the Victory” to sign a total victory on 24 June.

If on one hand the communists are paying the people, Mr. Lici on the other hand distributing with the hand in heart humanitarian aids from abroad he arrived to win the electoral population as a strong help beside “The Union for the Victory”, the poorest part of the population that of the North Albania.

In the quarter “Liria”, to Bardhaj, Postrriba, Gruda, Shtoj, in the quarter of “Marlula”, all will vote for those of the right camp.

Such a suffering country can pick up the money to stealers as Fatos Nano, and living them only the shame, but this time from the Albanians they will only contempt.

The democrats under violence and terror

In Albania, there is no respect for human rights and liberties, there is no respect for the constitution and the communist violence and repression against the political adversaries is visible. The democrats were victims of their political convictions after that the social communists ascended to the government with Kalashnikovs and explosives, in the spring of ’97. Concretely, the democrat Ded Marvukaj, born on 16. 02. 1974 in Zagora, in the region of M. Madhe, having been ex director of the cultural directory, so an artist, in the night of 6 September 2000, ha incurred a cruel offensive from a band. The band never was followed next by the police, and considering unconfirmed versions the same day they have had a meeting with the leader of the socialists Ruzhdi Duli, who actually is carrying on an electoral campaign for the parliamentary elections as a deputy. The active member of the Democratic Party, Ded Marvukaj was shot on 03. 04. 2001 and is just a miracle if he is still alive. But there are a hundred cases of executions of democrat politicians, for example that one of the member of the Albanian Union against communists, Senahi Gjeka. The wife of Ded Marvukaj has been kidnapped and nobody knows if she is still alive or not, or if she has been sold by the Mafiosi for prostitution. These kind of action are carried on by the socialists actually governing, the motorboats of the head of the parliament, Skender Gjinushi, of the minister Et’hem Ruka, or that one of Arben Imami became a terror in the coast city of Vlora. In this situation, the democrats in Albania found themselves under the pressure of the violence and of the repression. They have only two possibilities, remaining to fight the dictatorship or abandoning the country to find a pacific life. Ded Marvukaj has chosen the second one, but on 24 June, on the election day for the deputies for the Albanian parliament has to be the day of the dislodgement of the red dictators that insert Albania in the list of the poorest countries in the world, have made it the place of injustices and criminality, now as a serious trouble for the western countries.

The democrats are compelled to go

After 1997, when the communists have done the communist Bolshevik revolution and have violently come back, for Albania the flee abroad has become the issue of every day. This ugly destiny (for finding survival) have had especially the activists, the members and the sympathizing of the Democratic Party, and particularly in those places that are bastions of democracy.

Such is also the case of Mr. Lulzim Nikoll Smajlaj, of Brigjë-Hot, a village in the area of Malësi e Madhe.

Lulzim, known from years as an activist and member of the Democratic Party, from the beginning of the pluralism in Albania, being also known for its democratic spirit and lover of freedom, condemned by the new socialists, or the old communists, was beaten and mistreated by the police.

But the most dangerous was what happened on September 15, 2000, when coming back from a meeting of the Democratic Party, was beaten with barbarity. This happened to Lulzim right after explosive was put to his house. Everything had the goal to eliminate him, so that he might not be member of the commission for local elections of October 2000. No matter the various pressures to eliminate him, Lulzim Smajlaj was part of the commission. After this, after the victory of the communists, he was again menaced to be killed, because of his activity. This family has been surveyed for years by the Security, because even his brother, Ilir, in August 1990 had left Albania to go abroad. The democrats thus, menaced with violence, feel obliged to find survival.

Artur Pepaj, the model of the communist’s persecution

Artur Pepaj is only 19 years old but he incurred an enormous pain, an extreme persecution. Even he belongs of the 07. 03. 1982 generation, as too many other young democrats was pointed by the mafias communists state security. The life of this kid has bee a model of persecution until he was obliged to abandon his country. Considering that his grandfather was jailed round the 1950 for political convictions, considering that his relatives were involuntary collectivized in cooperatives and that their properties in the village of Shakota were picked them up with violence and that his mother Rozina, was obliged to work in the most difficult factory, that one of canned foods, to him was categorically forbidden the right on instruction. Artur Pepaj was obliged to work in a church. Round the 12-13 years old he took part in the oratory Don Bosco. He had a registry to the medium high school At Pjeter Meshkalla, after finishing of the medium school. The kid was object of continuous threatening even of physical elimination, when in the spring of ’97 the communists and Fatos Nano occupied the government power. Exactly at that time his father died and he over handed the hard charge of being head of the family. He was obliged to abandon the seminary’s life to take care about his mother and his sister, saving his life too. A new hope born for him in the August of 2000, when he met His Sanctity John Paul II. Another significant one was when he won the competition in the faculty of Economy in the University “Luigj Gurakuqi” of Shkodra. But after all, the communists don’t permit him to continue his way. The political pressures of the dictators were heavy day after day so he didn’t found escape way and emigrated in America.

So, the little Albania of the big criminals is the most problematic country where the democrats or the political adversaries are killed, or are obliged to abandon their country going away.

The Association of the Political Persecuted threats the life of the servants of communism

It is clear that part of the communist in Albania, served dictatorship with zeal and devotion. They do not deny this and accept they were convinced communists, and during their work have arrested, condemned, persecuted and damaged different individuals and families. These individuals and the families who suffered such a treat by communists, now enjoy the status of the political persecuted and have founded their national organization, known as the Political Persecuted Organization.

The question is if this organization of the political persecuted is organizing murders and attacks against those who persecuted them and their families for years. The same question was directed to the chairman of this organization, Kurt Kola, but he didn’t have any comment.

Since 1990 until now, over 20 people from Shkodra and Koplik, all known for their work during communism, have been killed. Amongst them there were: Arben Zylyftari, former chief of the police department; Ilir Dashi, vice chief of the police; Gjergj Merga, police officer; Cel Rrustemi, police officer; Edmon Cela, police inspector; Valentin Rama, police officer; Lazer Livadhi, detective; and Gëzim Karani, detective.

The police department of Shkodra makes known that the families of the former communists have reported over 100 incidents, when organized people have entered their homes terrorizing them, as the members of these families had worked for communism. The victims of those acts make known that the individual carrying out those criminal acts against them, identify themselves as politically persecuted during the communist regime and their goal is to kill all those who had worked for communism and their families, because of the criminal and persecuting acts they performed during the communist regime.

This was expressed by the wife of Ded Durgaj, from Koplik, whose home was attacked in the late night of April 5, 2001, when three individuals burst in to their house asking for Dedë or his son, Endri, but none of them was at home at the moment. Endri lived in New York, while Deda was in Shkodra, to some friends. Mrs. Durgaj was told that some day either Deda or his son would be caught and killed because of what Deda had done during communism. Even though Mrs. Durgaj called the police of Koplik, there had no arrests.

The same was reported by Mrs. Evgjeni Zelko, from Shkodra. On June 10, 2000, in her house burst in unknown persons, who identified themselves as politically persecuted by her husband, Ferhat Zelko, ex-dependent of the Public Order Ministry during the communism. They asked for Mr. Zelko or his sons. The same report was given by the families Kapaj, Islamaj, Cecaj, Melloja, Zeka and the family Neziri from Durrës.

None was arrested by the police for these crimes. Kurt Kola didn’t answer our questions, while the chief of the Police Department of Shkodra gave no comment. These families are thus in enigmatic conditions.
