Too many murders for property

One of the most concerning phenomenon, in these last times, is that of property conflicts. Murders, very macabre, are reported almost every day. Within five minutes, in the village Trush was killed Nikollė Malocaj, 48 years old, and Luēe Rrethi, 40 years old. The double murder sent in handcuffs Gjergj, the brother of Nikollė, and Lazer, the husband of Luēe, who are suspected for the crime in question. The village Trush isn’t quiet anymore, for the victims have left angry behind them. Even Leonard Ndoci, 35 years old, who shot his brother, Aleksandėr Ndoci, 45 years old, for property conflicts, admitted to the judges the macabre crime, saying that he has five children for whom he is concerned. Nevertheless, his attorney, Sami Ujkashi, presented the request for psychic examination for Leonard Ndoci. The request of the attorney might be based on the fact that the crime occurred within family. There are many cases like this in Albania, while laws are not severe for the crimes in general. The increase of the number of murders for blood-feud and various conflicts, but mostly for property problems, caused people to feel unsafe. There are property conflicts that cause people to live shut in, or even leave the country. This is what happened to the citizen Ridvan Sadik Milani, from the village Domėn, in the Municipality of Postrribe, of Shkodėr. A property conflict of 1992, with his cousin, Osman Haxhi Milani, went to attempted murder amongst the two families. Osman’s mother was wounded. At this point intervened the Missionaries of Peace and Reconciliation, but the family of Osman Milani wants revenge. Ridvan Sadik Milani left Albania to save his life. The State is powerless to prevent murders for property questions. It is a very concerning phenomenon that is not only causing many victims, but also departures from Albania, and is also ranking Albania amongst the countries of fear, where life and death live together.
