The state of the communist gangs

The Albanian citizen Kanto Curri, born in Shkodra in 1957, comes from a family persecuted by the 50-years long communist regime in Albania. His father Tom Marash Curri and his brother Luigj Tom Curri have respectively suffered 8 and 10 years of political imprisonment. The descendants of this family have still to suffer, although they’ve suffered the long years of dictatorship, such is the case of Kanto Curri. He as well as all the other anticommunists lined up the democratic forces. After 1990 he participated in all the anticommunist protests held in Shkodra during 1990-1991, and became a member of the Democratic Party. The former President Sali Berisha honored him with the “Courage Medal” for during 1992-1997 the years the Democratic Party governed, he gave a great contribution to the democracy in Albania especially in his beloved city, Shkodra, in 1997, unfortunately everything turnes upside down, with the violent return on power of the ex-communists. The security of the state makes of Canto his target to fire him, because even after 1997 he didn’t lay aside his anticommunist activity, participating in all the meetings e protests of the Democratic Party. In 1998 Kanto Curri participates in the funeral of the Deputy Azem Hajdari, while he is arrested and illtreated for a few days. He is especially noted in his activity during the elections’ campaigns, as he was a commissioner of the local and parliamentary elections of October 2000 and June 24, 2001. In this time he goes through threats to fire him, and he is several times arrested, beaten, and illtreated by the police and the security of the state. This was at its’ ace when on May 17, 2002 Kanto Curri was shot in his house by the agents of the security of state. The same destiny followed Merita Curri, Kanto’s wife, as she supported her husband in his anticommunist activity, so in August 2001, she was threatened by the ill-famed security of the state during a protest against the manipulation of the elections. She was illtreated and was hospitalized for three days, while still today is in bad health. These reasons as well as many others, that are as numerous as it is impossible to include in this article, the couple Kanto e Merita Curri are looking for their destiny elsewhere in foreign countries, just to survive, for they are threatened in their country and might be fired in every moment by the security of the state. May God help the couple Curri.

Clear threats toward the journalists of “Shqipëria Etnike”

We have made known to the competent organs, although distrustful of the dictatorial states, about the clear threats even to death, toward the journalists of the well-known Albanian newspaper “Shqipëria Etnike”. This newspaper is the most famous, trustful and seven times more read in the Internet, amongst those of more than ten years of life, thanks to the commitment of an editorial staff made up of the most illustrious persons of the Albanian litterature. It was also made known through Internet to the diplomatic corps in Albania. These last days there was a trivial threat toward of the communist mass-media of a foundamentalist line, with a staff of non professional pressmen unable to compete with the well-known Albanian poetess Fatime Kulli. Albania is under the pressure of such filthy people who are only creating problems, in a situation of an absent state and social shield. In the following editions we’ll be concentrate on hitting with human means the depraved, the filthy persons, until we’ll give them the place they’re worth of, for we are a journal made up of our efforts, work and money, and will soon be not just a paper but a “storm”. One of the many cases was that of our subeditor , Klajd Kapinova, dedicated to a free and democratic Albania. His courageous articles, even in this column called “Violence on people”, had become a distress to the communist foundamentalists. After many threats, our editing felt forced to make a request for visa, to the American Embassy, and thanks them our pressman is working today for his journal from New York. Klajd Kapinova, the young man you see in the picture,  covered for a long time sharp political and social problems, but the free speech is under the pressure of dictatorship and the mad people. And this was the last case of the former members of the past Polit-Bureau of the Central Comitee of Ramiz Alia’s times, toward Fatime Kulli.

We are momentarily missing Klajd Kapinova, a journalist, one of the best writers in Albania, but “Shqipëria Etnike” is provided of the needed power to prevent from putting a spoke in our wheels by our opposers. An Albanian proverb says: “Don’t touch the wasp…”

Death threats to the family of the democrat Fran Rragami

The former communists violently turned on power have been bringin in Albania the old original marks of the crime and canibalism fo the time of the communist dictatorship of Enver Hoxha. The sons of the hangmen are now sitting down with more sophisticated methods than those of their fathers bringin back the cruelty of the class-struggle, with the aim to eliminate all those who do not act according to the line of the modern social-communists. They’re too gentle and reasonable in behaviour and apearance, but more hostile when it is about undeserving properties, especially toward those aspiring to a democratic state with the criterias of the civilize Europe. Those envious strikes, often with consequences for the life, are felt more in the anticommunist area of Malësi e Madhe that is every day sending their sons and daughters somewhere abbroad, to save them from the violence and repression of the new socialist powerkeepers. One of the many people who had threats of death is the name of the democrat Fran Pashko Rragami, from Petroshan of Kastrat. He was born on May 23, 1954, in a patriotic and anticommunist family, and grew up with the best virtues, a characteristic of the sons and daughters of this region. The members of the family Rragami have experienced the weight of the psychological and physical violence and discrimination by the rappresentatives of the communist dictatorship of ’90, when along with the first movements for democracy it came a ray of hope for a better future. Fran and all the other members of the family joined the democratic hurricane resulting in the triumph of the Democratic Party and the establishment for the first time of pluralist state in Albania. Fran Rragami becomes secretary of this party for Petroshan during ’94-’97 and until 1997 he is an employee in the Fishing enterprise centered in Koplik. With the violent return on power of the former communists transformed in socialists, return the hard times for the democratic family of Fran Rragami. Firstly there are the anonymous letters with threats, menacing his life. These increase during 1999, becoming unbearable for Fran Rragami, forcing him to leave Albania illegaly. The troubles are not finished here for his family. The pressure is concentrated now on his wife and the other members of his family, by the agents of the security of state, trying to make Fran return home, so that they could arrest accused to oppose the socialist state.

Fran’s wife, facing this pressure, takes the children and finds shelter to her parents, but here too was impossible to find rest. The two daughters are forced to leave the school, fearing the rape and kidnapping, as they were grown up now. Being again under the pressure of threats by the todays powerkeepers, they feel to change their shelter and now they have no address. None knows anything about their actual residence. The fear of death threats and of kidnapping the daughters will probably force them to find the way of emigration, as the only way to escape the threats, psychological violence and insecurity of life.

Genc Tafili the firend of Azem Hajdari, is paying a tribute to the time

The anticommunist family of Genc Tafili faced a hard persecution. His father was condemned with 10 years of political imprisonment in 1955 and the famliy was interned till 1960. Even his parents were imprisoned and interned. Genc Tafili has also suffered because of his wife’s family. She was daughter of the family Kazazi, a respected family who passed through imprisonments, firings and discriminations. Her grandfather was fired in 1946 without a process, as participating in the battle of Postriba, the first battle in all the Balcans, shaking the foundamentals of the communism. With the beginning of the democratic processes, Genc Tafili joined the democratic forces to overthrow the dictatorship. He is a member of the anticommunist association “13 December 1990”, he also participated in the anticommunist protests on January 14, 1990, June 16, 1990, December 13, 1990 and April 2, 1991, when he was nearer to death than life, for the anarchist payed by the red gangs wanted to kill him, but could only menace and violent him. Our editorial office has the documents on his activity for the liberty of religion, the forming of the Democratic Party’s branch in the shoes’ enterprise. He experienced even the shut up, as his uncle had killed a gangster who attempted to violate his family. This democrat was a friend with the ex-deputy Azem Hajdari, fired by the communist nearby the DP’s seat in Tirana, while the guilty are not yet condemned for the gangs have killed not just the killers but also the killers of the killers. The day of the funeral of Azem Hajdari on September 14, 1998 in Tirana, Genc Tafili was illtreated for three hours by the police and as soon as he came back on Shkodra there were violent searches for three times by agents of the security of state. On April 13, 2000, as he was going home from an anticommunist meeting, Genc Tafili was menaced with guns and on March 22, 2001 was robbed by masked gangsters. These last days he had threats, for as an anticommunist and friend of Azem Hajdari he might be in the lists of death. How many are the democrats fired in these last years? They are thousands, as other thousands forced to leave Albania to save their life.

Kosovo, the broken peace

Astrit Fonda was born on Febbruary 5, 1973 in the village Brod of Prizren. He knows nothing about his brother Lirim, the sister Lindita and his parents Liman and Arife. Astrit knows nothing even about his wife Muradie and the daughter Arjeta.

The tragical story of this family starts in September 1997. One morning the Serb police comes in their home and terrorizing the family search and find some booklets in Albanian. They use this as an excuse to take Astrit, his brother and their father in the police station. The police used violence upon all the family. In the police station, besides the physical violence they were left without water and food for two days. Astrit was set free after two days, while his brother was set free a few hours before him and their father the next day. In January 1998, there is another search in their home. The police arrests again Astrit, his brother and their father. This time the police asks where do the weapons come from and who has guns in the village. The negative answers had physical violence as a response by the police. The Serb police asked them to be in their service in exchange of their liberty. They agreed but didn’t do that. In meantime Kosovo is in the fire of war. The police was bombing the Albanian part of the village and the inhabitants were finding shelter in the woods.  In March 1998, Astrit along with his brother Lirim, and their father participate in the protests in Prizren and this time they escaped the police. In the beginning of May 1999 their house is destroyed by the Serb bombs, while the war was spread over. Astrit, although believing in the democratic solutions for the problems of Kosovo, didn’t refuse to join the KLA. On May 1999 he joined the brigade of Pashtrik led by commandant Drini, but for Astrit there was only a beginning for the leaders were doubting his convictions and provoked him until casting him out of Kosovo. With great efforts Astrit reached Macedonia where he found shelter in the village Radusha to Shukri Berisha, where he stayed until October 1999. He cannot turn back to Kosovo as he is thought to be a traitor to the nation. Another reason for this is that his village confines with Dragusha, a village of 90% Serbs. The circumstances however make impossible his return in Kosovo although he has no contacts and knows nothing about his family.

The democrat Bledar Meti a victim of the system of violence

The gangs, rubber sticks, violence and repression are the true face of the Albanian state. This way of governing has caused 4200 Albanians fired, 123 policemen killed and thousands of anticommunist forced to leave Albania. One of the democrats who faced the hard revenge of the dictatorship forced so to leave Albania one year ago, in order to save his life, was the well-known anticommunist Bledar Meti. This anticommunist has participated in protests and strikes and has suffered violence and oppression. The picture we could have and are going to edit, is in a starve strike of this anticommunist. The Albanian youth has undertaken even these sublim acts against this anarchist system, and was even more punished. The family of Bledar Meti has suffered pressure and even murders. On June 17, 2002, certain groups of political intentions have put explosive to the shop of his parents injuring his father Hajrullah Meti. The medicians were fierced to treat him and the family sent him in tuz of Montenegro where, as we come to know, he escaped death. Bledar Meti however is a great accusation to this dictatorial state.

The fascist violence spares neither the women

We are talking about a mother, a known Albanian democrat, an anticommunist who spent much in order that Albania might worthily in the big European family. She is Hane Nikollë Bruli, the woman many times threat by sectors of the security of the state, whose sons were beaten several times and who was threat to have her daughter kidnapped. Albania is the most problematic country where the gangs have kidnapped and raped many Albanian girls. Hane Bruli was in the funeral of the democrat deputy Azem Hajdari on September 14, 1998, where she was ill treated by the police. Many democrats were arrested and the police used violence even unto women in that day. The above mentioned democrat suffered kicks and rubber sticks by the police. This democrat, as well as many mothers aspiring in a free Albania was noted in all the anticommunist peaceful protests. She supported as much as she could, she faced all that she could until the day she left Albania. This has an explanation. The Albanians are like the Hebrews of the beginning of the century still looking for a way to save their life. The communists, occasionally on power, are using fascist methods of cleansing, where the democrats are the victims. We have many evidences about the flagrant acts of crushed human rights and liberties and the applying of many crimes that we, as editorial office, will soon make known to the Tribunal of Hague. The post communist Albania is the same kind of regime like that of Millosheviç three years ago.
