The SP came on power through crimes, and wants to come back on power through crimes

During these months in opposition, the left-wing minority is doing nothing else but keeping its links with crime. As they had the power for 8 years, in links with the crime, helped it and again through it wants to have the power back. The scenes of violence in the Parliament, of leaders of the opposition, like Ilir Meta of the SLI, show perfectly that this part of opposition has links with crime menacing many democrats.

One of those democrats is Altin Haxhari, born on June 5, 1979, who joined the DP since 2002 with firm convictions. The activity of Haxhari hit the eye of the political power of the SP and its armed members. On march 22, 2002, the political police arrested him simply as a democrat militant. That day in Shkodra was organized a great manifestation in remembrance of March 22, 1992, when the DP won and brought political pluralism in Albania after 50 years of dictatorship. Altin Haxhari was mostly active in this manifestation. He suffered tortures that only fascist dictatorship could do, though they hide under the name of socialists. He was set free for missing evidence, what shows clearly that his arrest had political motivation. Nevertheless, the ill-famed secret services, continuing the communist Security of the State of Enver Hoxha, had planned to kill him, so Altin had to be cured somewhere else hiding, and not at the hospital. As he was menaced by gangs linked with the fascist-socialist power, he stayed hidden for a long time, as the only way to escape elimination and save his family too. In these condition, likewise many other democrats, Altin had to leave Albania, in order to have his life safe. His life is threatened even today. Though in opposition, the SP is still linked to gangs whose goal is to obey orders they had during the last 8 years, to eliminate democrats. During this time, these gangs supported by the opposition, which shows every day more its political incrimination by eliminating their rivals, have undertaken a tough campaign of violence, to the point of killing the democrat militants. The same way that have been eliminated in Fier, Lushnje, Shkoder, democrats like Altin Haxhari are in danger every moment if they come back in Albania. Though Berisha is doing his best to fight crime, it will need many years to have security for life, because actual structures of the state, like police, tribunals and prosecution keep on exercising an illegal activity.

Fier: Violence on the activist of ESYFA

Democrats make more intense their hunt by expanding it at all levels of membership and activists of the Socialist Party.

The next victim was the young socialist, member of the ESYFA (Euro-Socialist Youth Forum of Albania), Saimir Toska. He testified for our newspaper that in the evening of January 25, when he came back home, two police officers of the district of Fier went at his house and asked him to follow them to the police station. As he wanted to avoid incidents and as he didn’t want his wife to concern, Toska obeyed and went with the two police officers to the police station. The strange thing is the treatment he had, what didn’t justify the emergency to bring him to the police station. None talked to him during the whole night. Only the next morning the chief of the police station talked to Toska telling him that there was a report for him of using violence against two people whose names he didn’t tell. After the refuse of Toska and his insisting to know the names of the reporters, the officer of the police answered that this case will go the Prosecution and it was closed for the police, so he left Toska go home. Our sources in Prosecution tell that there is an open case against the young Saimir Toska, after he was reported to the police station.

There was an immediate reaction from the Socialist Party of Fier. The leader of the Socialist Party of Fier, Kujtim Shehaj, and the deputy of that area, Petro Koçi, in a dictum considered this as a discriminating action, and the next act in the hunt that Berisha started against members and activists of the Socialist Party in the whole country, especially in Fier, known as the city that continuously voted for socialists.

Saimir is victim of his activity for many years for the SP, as he was also hired in its local administration. Mr.Koçi said for “Shqipëria Etnike” that every thing was made up by the local police, which is actually under strict control of the democratic power.

A little coverage for the big castle of Kelmend

If someone wants to see an unconquerable castle in Albania, that even centuries couldn’t destroy, that is without any doubt Kelmend of Malesi e Madhe. For nearly four and a half centuries, the inhabitants of Kelmend fought ottomans who wanted to take their land and freedom, but mostly to force them change their religion. The fight was long and terrible, but the victory was for Kelmend. After the fall of the Turkish Empire, this country had 96% Catholics, so they belonged to that family who was based on the statement “Religion and Nation”. When it was said that Albania was free from the Nazi-fascists, communists came on power and ruled the country with their inhuman Turkish methods, mixed with the Bolshevik dictatorship. The inhabitants of Kelmend and Malesi e Madhe had felt the danger of communism, which was to destroy everything religious and patriotic. The Catholic religion was considered the most dangerous enemy of communism and Kelmend, as a castle of the Catholic religion became the target of the system. To prove this it’s enough if you visit Kelmend today and talk to its inhabitants. They can tell you about communist crimes, about names of families who were persecuted and imprisoned, or exiled only because they didn’t want to deny their faith in Christ, that communism had prohibited. This time we want to tell about the family Gjelaj, with their symbol, Ndue Vat Gjelaj who was condemned 7 years by the Party of Labor (Communist Party) in 1979, accused for propagation against the communist state, while part of it was religious, for his faith in the Lord, what was forbidden by the communist law since the Constitution of 1976. After the fall of communism in 1991, the Calvary of Ndue Gjelaj and his family was supposed to end, but this wasn’t the case, as the inhabitants of Kelmend told us that this family would suffer even worse from the Socialist Party (the Communist Party that changed its name in June 1991). In 1993, communists supported by the Socialist Party, killed Gjek Gjelaj, the brother of Ndue, in mysterious circumstances, as he was many times threatened as an anticommunist and a good Catholic believer helping the raise of churches. Ndue Gjelaj, during the democratic governing until 1997, had some spiritual quiet, but it ended when the socialist-communists violently came back on power in 1997. In 2002, Ndue Vat Gjelaj went in the United States (joining his family) to his daughter, Liza Ndue Gjelaj (Vushaj is her surname after marriage). Ndue Gjelaj was impressed by the beauty and development of the American economy, blessed by the Lord, reached only because the Christian civilization and faith, what was the faith of Ndue and his family. After he came back from America, he started to tell about what he had seen there, and he used to say that it’s a shame to give the votes to the Socialist Party, which left us in this misery and destruction. Socialists on power poisoned him in March 2004 (probably in a bar of their militants). He became very ill and died in 2005, but the cause of death was changed. Socialists on power had on their target not only Ndue Gjelaj, whom they killed, but his children too. We can just remember what her daughter, Hana Ndue Gjelaj (now Drejaj, because she married Fran Drejaj), who had death menaces many times, because she was going on the way of her father as a Catholic believer and as an antisocialist. Socialist gangs attempted even to rob Hana many times, until she had to leave Kelmend and Albania, though she loved them so much. It’s interesting to know that even Besnik and Fran Ndue Gjelaj, the sons of Ndue Gjelaj had this same treatment, but they could survive until now. Even after the 3rd of July, 2005, when democrats came on power, socialists, organized in militant groups and in darkness, keep their revenge against democrats, especially those Catholics, whom they consider the eternal enemies of communism and socialism. To hide their activity the socialist militants give to threats and violence an Islamic fundamentalist face, making the life of Catholic democrats always in danger. It is sad to notice that these ones, in order to save their lives, have to emigrate to occidental countries, especially in America, as the country symbol of freedom and democracy.
