Shkruan DIPLOMATIC MISSION PEACE AND PROSPERITY DMPP
Presidenti Historik i Kosovës Dr. Ibrahim Rugova ishte jo vetëm bashkëluftëtar për çështjet e Ballkanit me Ambasadorin Amerikan Richard Holbrooke, po edhe miq të ngushtë, madje edhe miq shtëpie.
Ambasadori Richard Holbrooke, sa herë vinte në shtëpinë e Presidentit Rugova, ndihej dhe sillej si në shtëpinë e tij.
Presidenti Rugova fliste me simpati të madhe për kontributet e mëdha të Ambasadorit Amerikan Holbrooke, si i dërguar special për Ballkanin, po edhe për çështjen e Kosovës dhe atë shqiptare në përgjithësi.
Presidenti Rugova thoshte shpesh se Ambasadori Richard Holbooke ishte i dashuruar me punën në Ballkan dhe, pasi të dilte në pension, kishte dëshirë të rikthehej në Ballkan dhe në Kosovë për të punuar me Shoqërinë Civile.
Ndoshta ishte dhe kjo arsyeja kryesore pse Ambasadori Amerikan Richard Holbrooke i propozoi Presidentit Rugova që të kotribuonte për të regjistruar në Ballkan Organizatën Ndërkombëtare Diplomatic Mission Peace and Prosperity DMPP.
Presidenti Rugova kishte krijuar miqësi, që në vitin 1991, me gazetarin Shefki Hysa, nga Tirana, Shqipëria, i cili atë kohë punonte për gazetat shqiptare Çamëria dhe Kombi.
Presidenti Rugova i kishte dhënë një intervistë nga më të bukurat për Çështjen Çame dhe meqenëse intervista pati jehonë, u bë shkak edhe i miqësisë së tyre.
Më vonë Shefki Hysa filloi punë në Kuvendin e Shqipërisë si Specialist i Lartë i Marrëdhënieve me Publikun, Këshilltar pranë Kryetarëve dhe Nënkryetarëve që drejtonin këtë Institucion të Lartë Ligjvënës të Shqipërisë.
Mbase edhe ky pozicion pune krijoi mundësi për konsolidimin e miqësisë së Presidentit Rugova me Gazetarin Shefki Hysa.
Presidenti Rugova thoshte se Shefki Hysa, nuk ishte vetëm një gazetar i mirë, po dhe një shkrimtar i talentuar, mik me Shkrimtarët e mëdhenj Dritëro Agolli dhe Ismail Kadare, njëkohësisht edhe intelektual me vlera dhe njohës i mirë i Çështjes Çame, çështjejeve Kombëtar Shqiptare, çështjeve të Ballkanin dhe atyre të Paqes nëpër Botë.
Pikërisht për këto arsye e njohu Gazetarin Shefki Hysa me Ambasadorin Richard Holbooke dhe të dy së bashku ia besuan Gazetarit Shefki Hysa drejtimin e Organizatës Diplomatic Mission Peace and Prosperity DMPP, e cila veproi pak kohë në Kosovë dhe në vitin 2010, u regjistrua në Tiranë, meqenëse Shefki Hysa banonte aty.
Fatkeqësisht Ambasadori Amerikan Richard Holbrooke ndërroi jetë në 13 Dhjetor të vitit 2010 dhe nuk e pati fatin të rikthehej më në Ballkan.
Sidoqoftë Ambasadori Holbrooke, nëpërmjet mikut të vet Presidentit Dr. Ibrahim Rugova, la në Ballkan një Amanet të Madh, një Pasuri të Madhe, Organizatën Amerikane Diplomatic Mission Peace and Prosperity DMPP, që punon me kapacitet të plotë për Paqe e Prosperitet në Botë, sipas Parimeve të Demokracisë Amerikane, në shërbim të Shoqërisë Civile Botërore.
Presidenti Ibrahim Rugova thoshte shpesh se ishte krenar që ia plotësoi Amanetin Ambasadorit Amerikan Richard Holbrooke, për të instaluar në Ballkan Diplomatic Mission Peace and Prosperity DMPP.
The legacy of the US Ambassador Richard Holbrooke and the role of the Historic President of Kosovo Dr. Ibrahim Rugova
The Historical President of Kosovo, Dr. Ibrahim Rugova, was not only a comrade-in-arms on Balkan issues with the American Ambassador Richard Holbrooke, but also close friends, even housemates.
Ambassador Richard Holbrooke, whenever he came to President Rugova’s house, felt and behaved like he was at home.
President Rugova spoke with great sympathy about the great contributions of American Ambassador Holbrooke, as a special envoy for the Balkans, as well as for the Kosovo issue and the Albanian issue in general.
President Rugova often said that Ambassador Richard Holbrooke was in love with the work in the Balkans and, after retiring, he wanted to return to the Balkans and Kosovo to work with Civil Society.
Perhaps this was the main reason why American Ambassador Richard Holbrooke proposed to President Rugova to contribute to register the International Organization Diplomatic Mission Peace and Prosperity DMPP in the Balkans.
President Rugova had established friendship, since 1991, with the journalist Shefki Hysa, from Tirana, Albania, who at that time worked for the Albanian newspapers Çamëria and Kombi.
President Rugova had given him one of the most beautiful interviews about the Chama issue, and since the interview resonated, it became the reason for their friendship.
Later, Shefki Hysa started working in the Parliament of Albania as Senior Public Relations Specialist, Advisor to the Speakers and Vice-Presidents who led this Supreme Legislative Institution of Albania.
Perhaps this job position also created opportunities for the consolidation of President Rugova’s friendship with Journalist Shefki Hysa.
President Rugova said that Shefki Hysa was not only a good journalist, but also a talented writer, a friend of the great writers Dritëro Agolli and Ismail Kadare, at the same time an intellectual with values and a good knowledge of the Cham issue, the Albanian national issues, and the issues of the Balkans and those of peace in the world.
Precisely for these reasons, he met Journalist Shefki Hysa with Ambassador Richard Holbrooke and both together entrusted Journalist Shefki Hysa with the direction of the Organization Diplomatic Mission Peace and Prosperity DMPP, which operated for a short time in Kosovo and in 2010, was registered in Tirana, since Shefki Hysa lived there.
Unfortunately, American Ambassador Richard Holbrooke passed away on December 13, 2010 and was not lucky enough to return to the Balkans.
However, Ambassador Holbrooke, through his friend President Dr. Ibrahim Rugova left in the Balkans a Great Bequest, a Great Wealth, the American Organization Diplomatic Mission Peace and Prosperity DMPP, which works with full capacity for Peace and Prosperity in the World, according to the Principles of American Democracy, at the service of World Civil Society.
President Ibrahim Rugova often said that he was proud to complete the Mandate to American Ambassador Richard Holbrooke, to install in the Balkans the Diplomatic Mission Peace and Prosperity DMPP.
