Para disa ditësh u zhvillua në sallën e koncerteve të Shkollës artistike ‘Prenk Jakova’ Shkodër koncert i Trios polake ‘JAH’, të muzikës Jazz. Muzikantët e rinj nga Polonia performuan me një nivel të lartë artistik, stil, tingull magjepës, ritëm të mrekullueshëm, improvizim të nivelit të lartë, harmoni Jazz shumë e zgjeruar, shije shumë të hollë artistike, liri muzikore me shumë imagjinatë. Trio përfaqësonte gjeneratën e re të muzikës Jazz në Poloni. Muzikantët nga Polonia luanin me një lirshmëri të veçantë pjesët e kompozuara për trion e tyre. Muzika Jazz ka një zhvillim të madh në Poloni dhe ndiqet jo vetëm nga publiku polak, por edhe në Europë dhe Kanada, SH.B.A. Trio ‘JAH’ është pjesë e shumë evenimenteve, takimeve të rëndësishme të muzikës Jazz.
Fillimi i muzikës Jazz në Poloni është i vështirë të përcaktohet. Që në fillim të viteve 1930, klubet në Varshavë, Kraków, Rzeszów ose Poznań do të luanin pak Jazz. Kjo prirej të ishte Swing dhe një pjesë e saj u ndikua nga muzika tradicionale klasike. Muzika popullore amerikane (veçanërisht këngët nga George Gershwin) ishte në kërkesë të madhe nga auditori i muzikës Jazz. Eddie Rosner konsiderohet të jetë muzikanti i parë polak me rëndësi i muzikës Jazz.

Trio ‘JAH’ është një formacion i muzikës Jazz, i formuar nga udhëheqësi Jan Jarecki (piano), Michał Aftyka (kontrabas) dhe Marcin Sojka (bateri). Grupi pranon se meloditë e kënduara, shumëllojshmëria ritmike dhe harmonitë e zgjeruara janë shumë të rëndësishme për ta.
Trio ‘JAH’, përdor elemente të swing, groove dhe improvizimit të gjerë. Groove është një tipar domethënës i muzikës popullore dhe mund të gjendet në shumë zhanre, duke përfshirë salsa, rock, soul, funk dhe fusion. Filozofia e lojës së tyre ishte pjesë e formimit artistik dhe talentit të veçantë për muzikën Jazz. Ndër sukseset e deritanishme të Trio ‘JAH’ janë finalet e Konkursit Ndërkombëtar të Jazz-it në Bukuresht 2020 dhe Jazz Juniors 2020. Muzikantët nga Polonia më dhuruan një album me pjesët e tyre më të bukura. Albumi ishte pregatitur me shumë shije, pjesët ishin orkestruar shumë mirë dhe tingëllonin mrekullueshëm. Ndër pjesët e albumit po përmendi pjesët: ‘Hibrid’, ‘Mary’, ‘Motlava’, ‘Blu in Green’, ‘Second Experiment’ dhe ‘New Life’. ‘Hibrid’ një pjesë e shpejtë fillonte me piano, dhe më pas luante bateria dhe C/Bass. Tingujt e pianos ishin të lehtë, me një tingull të vërtetë ‘hibrid’. Kontrastet nga piano deri në mexoforte transmetonin idenë e pjesës. Ritmi ishte Dixieland dhe piano improvizonte magjishëm, deri në decreshendo që dëgjohej C/Bass deri në diminuendo, duke lënë një gjurmë të veçantë muzikore, gjithmonë me temën kryesore në përmbajtje, me arpexhiato në fund. Pjesa e dytë ‘Mary’, në slow, prezantonte një ‘narrativë’ të veçantë dhe tingujt të luajtur me shumë stil, përmbushnin idenë, me ritmin e C/Bass në sfond me improvizime dhe bateria q luante me brusha. Pjesa e tretë ‘Motlava’ ishte një Dixieland, me pak Rock të brendshëm.
Variacionet e pianos, komunikonin si pyetje përgjigje Piano-C/Bass. ‘Blu in Green’ ishte një pjesë tjetër e Albumit, që teknikisht vazhdonte në stilin e pjesëve të përparshme. Harmonia është e gjërë dhe ritmi e mbështet organikisht melodinë dhe harmoninë. ‘Second experiment’ është një pjesë me temp më të shpejtë, me basin që vazhdon continua. Tendenca për të eksperimentuar në muzikë është pjesë e filozofisë së artistëve të rinj polak të këtij grupi. Në këtë pjesë dëgjohen edhe element të ‘kontrapunktit klasik’ të shoqëruar me një teknikë brilante tipike, që me sekunca transmeton muzikë plot temp të brendshëm. Pjesa e fundit ‘New Life’ nëpërmjet të së njëjtës filozofi loje, prezanton një ‘peisazh tingujsh’ të lidhur me realitetin pak abstrakt të ‘jetës së re’.
Pjesët e luajtura në koncert në Shkodër dhe albumi i Trio ‘JAH’ janë garanci artistike, që kjo trio shumë simpatike do të ketë një të ardhme të sigurtë dhe të shquar artistike në muzikën Jazz, duke ndjekur traditën, jo vetëm në Poloni por më gjërë nëpër botë.
Duke iu uruar muzikantëve nga Polonia suksese në të ardhmen po e mbylli shkrimin me nje thënie për muzikën Jazz: ‘Ruani qetësinë dhe luani Jazz. Vallëzimi i bën mirë shpirtit. Bebop i bën mirë jetës. Ndjenja i bën mirë blues’.
Jazz from Poland, Trio ‘JAH’ at the ‘Prenk Jakova’ Art School in Shkodër

A few days ago, took place a concert by the Polish Trio ‘JAH’, of Jazz music, in the concert hall of the ‘Prenk Jakova’ Art School in Shkodër. The young musicians from Poland performed with a high artistic level, style, enchanting sound, wonderful rhythm, high-level improvisation, very expanded Jazz harmony, very fine artistic taste, musical freedom with a lot of imagination. The trio represented the new generation of Jazz music in Poland. The musicians from Poland played with special freedom the pieces composed for their trio. Jazz music has a great development in Poland and is followed not only by the Polish public, but also in Europe and Canada, the USA. Trio ‘JAH’ is part of many important events and meetings of Jazz music.
The beginning of Jazz music in Poland is difficult to determine. As early as the 1930-s, clubs in Warsaw, Kraków, Rzeszów or Poznań would play some Jazz. This tended to be Swing and some of it was influenced by traditional classical music. American folk music (especially songs by George Gershwin) was in great demand by the Jazz audience. Eddie Rosner is considered to be the first significant Polish Jazz musician. Here are some of the well-known Jazz musicians in Poland. Hanna Banaszak, vocalist. Guitarist Marek Bliziński. Violinist, pianist and composer Krzesimir Dębski. Singer Urszula Dudziak. Trumpeter Maciej Fortuna. Pianist Bogdan Hołownia. Wojciech Karolak Hammond organist, keyboardist, pianist (describes himself as “an American Jazz and R&B musician, mistakenly born in the middle of Europe”). Krzysztof Komeda, composer, pianist, film singer. Andrzej Kurylewiczm, pianist, trumpeter, trombonist, composer also of classical music. Zbigniew Namysłowski, alto saxophonist. Stanisław Sojka (Stan Soyka), vocalist, pianist, guitarist, composer. Tomasz Stańko, trumpeter and composer, associated with free jazz and avant-garde, etc.
Trio ‘JAH’ is a jazz music group, formed by leader Jan Jarecki (piano), Michał Aftyka (double bass) and Marcin Sojka (drums). The group acknowledges that sung melodies, rhythmic variety and extended harmonies are very important to them.
Trio ‘JAH’ uses elements of swing, groove and extensive improvisation. Groove is a significant feature of popular music and can be found in many genres, including salsa, rock, soul, funk and fusion. Their playing philosophy was part of their artistic formation and special talent for jazz music. Among the successes of Trio ‘JAH’ so far are the finals of the International Jazz Competition in Bucharest 2020 and Jazz Juniors 2020. Jan Jarecki is a student at the Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk. Alongside his trio, he performs as a backing musician in many Tricity bands, the Maja Biesek Quartet, the Paulina Porszke Ensemble, and the Mietek Band. As a theater pianist and composer of music for performances, Jan Jarecki collaborates, among others, with the Beach Theater, the Gdynia Główna Theater, the Baltic Opera, the Polish Chamber Philharmonic in Sopot, the Gdańsk University Choir, and the Jan Konop Big Band.
Over the next two months Trio ‘JAH’ will play several concerts in Uzbekistan, Pakistan, and Poland. They are part of the JAZZ PO POLSKU “Around the World” concert series.
The musicians from Poland gifted me an album with their most beautiful pieces. The album was prepared with great taste, the pieces were very well orchestrated and sounded wonderful. Among the pieces of the album, I was mentioning the pieces: ‘Hybrid’, ‘Mary’, ‘Motlava’, ‘Blu in Green’, ‘Second Experiment’ and ‘New Life’. ‘Hibrid’, a fast piece, started with piano, and then played drums and C/Bass. The piano sounds were light, with a real ‘hybrid’ sound. The contrasts from piano to mezzoforte conveyed the idea of the piece. The rhythm was Dixieland and the piano improvised magically, up to the decreshendo that was heard on C/Bass to the diminuendo, leaving a special musical trace, always with the main theme in content, with arpeggios at the end. The second piece ‘Mary’, in slow, presented a special ‘narrative’ and the sounds played with great style, fulfilled the idea, with the rhythm of C/Bass in the background with improvisations and the drums playing with ‘brushes’. The third part ‘Motlava’ was a Dixieland, with a bit of internal Rock. The piano variations communicated as a question-answer Piano-C/Bass. ‘Blu in Green’ was another part of the Album, which technically continued in the style of the previous parts. The harmony is broad and the rhythm organically supports the melody and harmony. ‘Second experiment’ is a part with a faster tempo, with the bass continuing continua. The tendency to experiment in music is part of the philosophy of the young Polish artists of this group. In this piece, elements of ‘classical counterpoint’ are also heard, accompanied by a typical brilliant technique, which in seconds transmits music full of ‘inner tempo’. The last piece ‘New Life’, through the same playing philosophy, presents a ‘soundscape’ connected to the slightly abstract reality of ‘new life’.
The pieces played at the Concert in Shkodër and the album of Trio ‘JAH’ are artistic guarantees that this very charming trio will have a secure and distinguished artistic future in Jazz music, following the tradition, not only in Poland but also in the wider world.
Wishing the musicians from Poland success in the future, I am closing the article with a saying about Jazz music: ‘Keep calm and play Jazz. Dancing is good for the soul. Bebop is good for life. Feeling is good for the blues’.
